点评：You never know if a state park is worth seeing or not, especially when there are many attractions in OBX. However, I would definitely recommend this park. From speaking with the park ranger at the visitor station to the maintenance technician on the boardwalk, they were very helpful and courteous. When you walk the short trip to the sand dunes, it is truly amazing. I didn't expect them to actually be that impressive. Very enjoyable time for young kids and adults alike. I'd recommend this adventure to anyone who is able to tackle large sand dunes or trails and in good physical shape. The park has free entrance, and there is a small business within the park that offers reasonable rentals for sandboarding and kites for those interested. There were other aspects of the park we didn't get to see, but hope to go back soon. You'll want to count on at least a half or whole day to appreciate it fully.
