点评:I was very disappointed with the Bronx Zoo. If you go, be sure to buy the most expensive tickets because if you buy the basic park admission you will be required to stand in line again and again to buy supplementary tickets to get into the interesting exhibits. However, my main complaint is that many exhibits seem too small and cramped for the animals. Pacing among animals is not a good sign - the leopard was obviously stressed. Happy the elderly lone elephant looked pretty miserable - definitely not happy. I would not recommend this zoo to people that have an inkling of concern about the humane treatment of animals. I left this zoo feeling regretful that I had spent money on a zoo that cares more about profits than animal welfare. It’s long past time that they retire their elephants (I think they have 2) to an elephant sanctuary. JungleWorld needs to give more space for the leopard. Although I now live in the area, I I will not be returning to this zoo. It’s simply too depressing.
