Both the exterior facade and the interior design are absolutely stunning examples of Neo-Gothic architecture. Once you step inside, the sheer scale of the massive vaulted ceilings, the intricate stained-glass windows, and the grand high altar command immediate attention. For our family, simply sitting in the pews and absorbing the historic atmosphere was a highlight of our day. The only minor drawback is the heavy foot traffic; because it is a prime global attraction, the constant shuffling of tour groups and ambient chatter can occasionally dilute the sacred, quiet reverence you expect from a house of worship. However, as a free cultural stop in the heart of the city, the sheer visual and historical value is unmatched.
