Breathtaking Views - MUST DO Purely for the Cable Car

点评：Having done VinWonders Phu Quoc as well as Sun World Ba Na Hills we weren't particularly keen on Sun World Hon Thom as this theme park is still under construction and very few rides are operational. But our island hopping and snorkeling trip started post lunch so we had the first half free. And what a blessing in disguise that turned out to be.
The Hon Thom Cable Car is not to be missed any cost. Its the world's longest cable car over sea and without a doubt one of the most beautiful rides you will ever get onto. It starts from the southern tip of Phu Quoc Island and literally takes you into the sea as you hop above smaller islands till you reach Hon Thom or Pineapple Island. Its completely different then the cable car at Sun World Ba Na Hills as that one takes you to the mountains while this one is over the sea. The sights from the cable car were to die for and our guide helped us identify islands we would later visit for snorkeling.
You cant buy tickets only for the cable car - they come in a package which includes entry to Sun World Hon Thom. So if you are doing this just for the cable car you are paying a bomb, but the 20 minute ride each way is definitely worth it. Once on top there is not too much to do as currently only 3 adventure rides have started, while the Aquatopia water park is fully functional.
Do note that the cable car shuts for 2 hours during noon so if you miss the return ride at 12 pm then you are stuck on the island for a couple of hours. Also the Sun World tickets come with a complimentary mug of beer / glass of watermelon juice. The beer can be redeemed at the bar on the island and was quite refreshing while the juice has to be picked up from the starting station when you return from your ride. Also Kiss Bridge entry is covered with these tickets.
I am so glad we paid just to do the cable car as the scenic views of the sea were definitely worth it.

请注意，缆车中午会停运2小时，所以如果你错过了中午12点的返程缆车，就得在岛上待上几个小时。太阳世界的门票还包含一杯免费啤酒/一杯西瓜汁。啤酒可以在岛上的酒吧兑换，非常清爽；西瓜汁则需要在缆车返回时到出发站领取。此外，这些门票也包含吻桥（Kiss Bridge）的门票。
我们非常庆幸当初只买了缆车票，因为沿途的海景绝对值得一看。
