Good company, good paddling, good memories and very good value.

点评：This was a three day canoeing trip along the Wye from Hay to Hereford. All we had to bring was camping gear and snacks; everything else was provided.
Nick, ably assisted by Drew, was a relaxed but above all experienced guide. His knowledge of the river and the best way to travel it was obvious and reassuring, especially given the low water levels this year.
Food was plentiful and nourishing, cooked over an open fire(pit) and a vegetarian diet was no problem.
I was solo but the relaxed and friendly atmosphere meant we all soon felt at ease. I am a relatively slow paddler but was never made to feel awkward about this.
In the ferrying of gear and vehicles between sites I needed a lift back to my motorcycle at the end of the weekend and this was freely and generously offered.
It was a pleasantly tiring three days, canoeing through beautiful countryside in good company. What more could you ask?
