Do not rely on Kintyre Express, they let me down badly

点评：I planned a cycle trip in Northern Ireland and Scotland, using Kintyre Express. I had spent a long time in the winter planning it and I only had 5 days away from family responsibilities.
A week before my trip Kintyre Expressed cancelled their service for the whole week I was planning for. They had a technical problem. It made a complete mess of my week, I had to spend a day on ferries and trains and in a rush to make connections, going a long way round to complete my trip and missed out on quite a lot of the things I had planned for, plus having to get up at 5 am to catch my ferry in Ardrossan and a lot of extra expense. I daresay I'm not the only person whose travel plans were ruined that week.
So it may be a nice ferry ride, but if your trip is important to you don't trust Kintyre Express to be there to honour your booking. They sell a transport service with no backup for technical problems.
