Great way to spend a day.

点评：What a lovely day we had. The ferry from Cowes was smooth and we were greeted by our host Daisy on the jetty. Daisy walked us to a information shelter and gave a brief history of French island before a brief tour close to the Jetty while we waited for two more guests from Stoney Point.
Our journey on the island began with a lunch prepared by Celia, baked potatoes with fresh everything to add and the tastiest meat sauce you could wish for.
The winery was charming. Andrew shared the history as he poured generous amounts of wine for tasting. We bought some of his lovely wine.
My impression of French Island was like being transported back to the 19th century with advantages of the 21st.
Our hosts are as hardy as pioneers and as welcoming and warm typical of country people.
I recommend taking the tour. For us it was a fun relaxing day.
Lots of koalas too, if you want to see koalas.
Thank you Daisy for making this such a memorable day for us.
