点评：Yes, I know that they advise to book ahead, but I didn’t know when I would be ready and it’s a bike rental company; any bike that gets me around the city trails will do. Too much to ask, apparently. I arrived at 3 and the store was unattended. I called and texted the number they posted and got no response. I waited a half hour and nobody came to the supposedly open store. An hour later I came back, still hoping to rent a bike for an hour or two before it closed. A woman was there and I asked if I could rent a bike and she dismissed me, saying they had a private event that evening. This was not mentioned on the store signage or website.
This is no way to run a business. What kind of bike rental company requires advance booking? I could see they had plenty of bikes, just no staff. And if you have a “private event” or the staff is temporarily away, put up a sign or an auto-response message or voice mail explaining this. I’ve rented bikes in cities before and it shouldn’t be this hard. I’m a customer and I want to give you money for your services so much that I am calling and texting and you can’t even respond to the messages?
