点评:It's hard to describe this place, part park, part cemetery and part religious site all together. Located on the outskirts of Sapporo it's best to have transportation but have tours and public bus stop at the entrance. Large parking lot @ 500 Yen. Huge wide-open areas with many children playing in the open fields and you could walk for hours.
The highlight is of course the Buddha. As you walk up only the building is visible with just a bit of the head showing. At the start of the pathway the washing sinks are on each side and leads to the entrance. 500 Yen. When you enter there is a large reflection pool, the further you go more is visible and it is quite inspiring. Items are available for offerings and a limited number of chairs for those that need a rest. It is a very tranquil and serene space and has to be treated with the utmost respect.
Limited food and beverage available with free ice water by the reflecting pool. Well worth the trip if in Sapporo.
