A February half term adventure
Lakes Outdoor Experience的点评
点评：I had planned on taking our sons to the Lakes to progress their mountaineering skills and I had spoken to people who seemed surprised or reluctant to help with children and then came across Iain.
We arranged two days with him, one day of navigation skills and another of climbing and abseiling.
The navigation skills day was brilliant and both the boys (and me) left knowing pretty much everything about how to use a map and compass and with a lot of confidence as well.
The next day was a more adrenaline based and we went to a great rock climbing location where Iain setup two ropes so the boys had two different routes that could be climbed.
Afterwards we went to a quarry where a big abseil was setup and we all had a go at doing that.
Although we were working at height, everything was meticulously setup with safety and professionalism clearly demonstrated and shown.
The encouragement and support to help everyone get through the challenges was great and everyone felt that they had achieved something and pushed their skills further forwards.
If you want to try something new and exciting or simply brush up on existing skills, then get in touch with him.
You definitely won't regret it!!
