Disappointing experience - Avoid for special occasions

点评：We booked the 'Hijacked' room for my daughter’s 11th birthday today, but it unfortunately ended up ruining the celebration. Having visited many escape rooms before, we found this provider to be the least supportive we’ve ever encountered.
The service felt dismissive and unprofessional. Our issues started before we even got inside. The site gate was locked; it took us 6 phone calls to finally get someone to pick up and to get a gate code, which was initially incomplete (they missed the letter at the front of the code). When we finally managed to enter, there was no one there to greet us. The same thing happened when we tried to leave after the game - the gate was locked again, no one answered the phone for 15 minutes!! : ( And in the end we only got out because another car happened to be leaving.
Regarding the game: We had the feeling that the game master was not fully aware of our progress. Unlike other providers where staff closely follow your actions to keep the flow going, this person did not seem to be paying much attention. They gave us clues for puzzles we had already solved, which was incredibly frustrating.
At one point, we found a small screwdriver (meant as a distraction) and started unscrewing things in the room that were not part of the game. A proactive game master would have stepped in to stop us, but we were left to waste time because no one was watching. We were so close to the finish line when time ran out, but for the final 10 minutes no help or guidance were given, causing us to fail.
If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion, avoid this place. When you are stuck with a disengaged and indifferent staff member, you risk failing the room and ruining your day.
