点评：I attended on Feb 14/15 and was required to cloak my bag on entry. When I returned to collect it, I had unfortunately lost the ticket. I was able to clearly describe the bag and offered to show ID, but staff refused to return my belongings and laughed at me. I had to come back the next day and incur additional travel costs to retrieve my own property. The situation felt unnecessarily escalated and could have been resolved reasonably.
Additionally, I was uncomfortable with the “Ladies Night” policy. A transfeminine friend in our group was told the promotion did not apply to them, which felt exclusionary and outdated. On top of that, offering free entry to women while programming an all-male DJ lineup felt objectifying rather than empowering. It created the impression that women were being used to fill the room rather than being genuinely represented or respected.
Overall, the experience left me feeling dismissed and uncomfortable. I hope the venue reflects on both its cloakroom procedures and event policies to create a safer, more inclusive environment.
