点评：Waterwheel Houseboat, Alleppey, offers one of the most genuine and best houseboat experiences. Communication with Sujin was easy and reassuring from the start. The houseboat was beautiful, fully air-conditioned, and lavishly appointed, and we were welcomed with refreshing coconut water.
The food was excellent and thoughtfully prepared to suit my white Australian partner’s taste, served on traditional banana leaves with a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The views of the backwaters, coconut trees, and sunset were breathtaking. The boat pilot and assistant were knowledgeable about the local surroundings.
My partner bought fresh crabs from a local market, and the staff cooked them perfectly with mild, well-balanced spices. We stayed on a double-decker boat, relaxing in our bedroom and enjoying meals and views from the top deck. Evening tea with onion bhajiyas was a highlight. The stop at the paddy fields was a first-time experience for my partner. My partner's feedback was that he felt safe, the crew didn't leave us after dropping and they waited with us until our driver arrived. He was delighted with this experience.
