点评：Working with Bamboo Ecotours was an exceptional experience from start to finish. When border/travel restrictions for Uganda required us to pivot to a Rwanda-only itinerary, Edison was incredibly gracious and helpful. He seamlessly optimized our trekking dates and logistics around Kigali arrivals and departures. Handling such a high-value trip requires immense trust, and Bamboo Ecotours went above and beyond to make us feel entirely supported.
Our tour itself was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, largely thanks to our guide and driver, Brian. As an ex-tracker, Brian’s depth of knowledge about mountain gorillas is top-notch—he even cross-referenced up-to-date details to give us the best briefing the day before. He was exceptionally punctual and communicated departure times clearly, keeping the entire trip stress-free and smooth.
The cherry on top was how attentive he was to our wishes: when we mentioned hoping to see a larger group, Brian submitted a written request on our behalf for a family of 15+ members. We ended up trekking to a family of 25 gorillas, which completely blew our minds!
I cannot recommend Bamboo Ecotours, Edison, and Brian highly enough for an expertly handled, unforgettable journey.
