点评:There is nothing more exhilarating and invigorating and refreshing that walking through Lincoln Park on a sunny day in the spring, summer or fall. Weather permitting, I take a leisurely stroll from my condominium near North Avenue to the Lincoln Park zoo and back. Past the Chicago History Museum, the famous Abraham Lincoln Statue and the Benjamin Franklin Statue, along the long promenade to the South Pond. There's a bench on a nearby hill where I usually take a break. Then into the Zoo and the seals pool and tigers and lions and apes and flamingoes and rhinos and polar bears and giraffes. On the way back, I always take time to admire the massive Ulysses S. Grant Statue that overlooks DuSable Lake Shore Drive and Lake Michigan and watch kids playing soccer or baseball or basketball. On Wednesdays, I always browse through the farmers' market between Stockton and Clark Streets. Lincoln Park is Chicago's largest park, covering 1,200 beautifully manicured and landscaped acres. I'm so fortunate to live a few steps from one of the city's grandest attractions.
