A fantastic trip in this remote area. Just remember it’s a ferry not a cruise!

点评：Loved this wonderful unique experience over 4 days in the Patagonian fjords. Amazing views of the mountains, volcanoes and islands. But please read all the information the company provides and know what to expect. The schedule is flexible by necessity because of the weather in this area. Departure and arrival times may get changed at relatively short notice so it won’t work for those on a tight schedule. Our leaving date changed twice. We had good weather mostly but it gets windy and it can be rough across a section of ocean, although we were lucky. We saw whales and dolphins on part of the route. It’s a commercial ferry not a cruise so you are sharing it with trucks and their drivers, cars as well as tourists. The food was great and plentiful although the menus are set choice but there are vegetarian options. Tea and coffee (instant) is available all day or there is a separate cafeteria to buy drinks. The staff were great, friendly and efficient. The ship is kept very clean and the cabins are basic but spacious. You get to meet travellers from all round the world. There is some entertainment, yoga, documentaries, tour of the bridge, karaoke but it’s all much simpler than you might get on a cruise. There is wi-fi now but prone to dropping out regularly. Half the fun is being disconnected in this remote area and chatting to other passengers! All in all a fantastic experience!
