Beautiful fiords and panoramic views plus practical things about the boat.

点评：Scenery is spectacular provided the weather is relatively clear. We had great weather on Day on one travelling from Puerto Natales north to Puerto Montt. Day two and three were cloudy and wet. But it was a relaxing time to read a book etc. The wifi could be better. You have to constantly reconnect when you move from your room or from the dining room to the cafe etc. You cannot get wifi connection on a computer only on a phone so cannot to do any reasonable zoom calls with friends or family or for business for say a board meeting etc. But that’s probably a good thing.
Leave time at the destination if you need to catch a plane. The boat can be delayed by poor weather. Have flexible itinerary. At least 6 hours or one day.
Take some snacks with you on board - cheese and prosciutto crackers smoked salmon. The food is ok and voluminous. They biotic do healthier options like natural yoghurt etc, if you want a treat take it with you.
Take a couple of books to read - you might need them.
The mattress are very firm - that’s the way simple cabins are.
The bathroom has body wash only so take shampoo and conditioner if that’s your need.
There’s no clothes washing available on board so take 4 days of clothes. Or wash your undies etc in the bathroom and hang them to dry overnight in the room. There is an adjustable air vent/fan which you can open by screwing the vent open - this helps dry clothes faster.
No alcohol is allowed because it’s a safety issue - the winds outside on the decks are extremely strong at times and the steps on the ship are steep to navigate. Alcohol affected passengers might fall overboard. Hypothermia might get you before the rescue boat!
All up it’s an amazing navigation of panoramic fiords and extraordinary mountain landscapes to experience. Enjoy. Take your camera.
