点评：Craft ale pubs are really popular in our home town of South Shields but even though we don’t drink them regularly we find the venues really relaxing and friendly. (We’ve been visiting community pubs in the north east for a while now). Like the ones we’ve visited near home the fell is small and cosy. You can chat with good drinks and a friendly atmosphere. The owners/staff obviously love what they do and it shines through.
We got a table downstairs, whilst there’s a 2nd floor my husband discovered which had more floor space and a selection of board games. His quest for the toilets wasn’t easy due to him being on crutches and the steep twisting steps, but he eventually found them (unisex).
Prices, over the £8 which is the same as at home. Would we rather go here than a franchise beginning with W, yes, for the atmosphere and decent drinks.
