点评：We took the tour on NewYears Eve. The tour was well organized, though we did feel rushed through the activities. Twenty minutes for breakfast would have been plenty of time for the coffee/ breakfast break if all 3 cafes had been open; but we arrived so early , two of the places didn’t open until we were leaving. We were given ample time to take photos at the Three Sisters lookout, but unfortunately we had a lady on our tour who was habitually late. We lost 15 minutes while our tour guide patiently waited for her to show up; and then he drove us to Scenic World and circled back to look for her. This caused a major disruption in the morning because now our group got broken up at the tramway and we lost another 30 minutes waiting in the gift shop until the guide could round us all up to continue together to the last two rides at the park. After a quick lunch, we continued to the Featherdale WildLife Zoo, where we only had an hour to visit the animals since the guide wanted to get back to the city before all the streets started closing for NYE. Due to the shortened time, I had to choose between a picture with a koala or visiting the animals. I wished I had selected the picture as we were delayed an extra 20 minutes while our entitled lady arrived late back to the bus with her picture in hand. I don’t blame our tour guide, (who was excellent), for not wanting to leave anyone behind, but maybe a policy needs to be mandated and stated early on that if you miss the return to the bus by more than 10 minutes, you will be left behind. I don’t feel it was fair to me or the other tourists that we missed out on time at the zoo due to one person’s tardiness. All said, however, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see beautiful scenery and unique animals.
