点评：I completed a 4-day trip to southeast Ethiopia with Aman Ethiopia Tours, and it was a really enjoyable experience. The route covered the Rift Valley, including Ziway and Awassa, and also a memorable coffee day trip to Yirgacheffe. Even though my main interest is nature and birding, the whole journey turned out to be richer than I expected.Awassa was a highlight. The accommodation arranged by Aman Ethiopia Tours at Haile Resort Awassa was excellent, comfortable, and perfectly located. The lake birds in Awassa were amazing, especially early in the morning, and visiting the fish market by the lake was a real local experience. My guide in Awassa knew the area very well and provided great service throughout.
The coffee experience in Yirgacheffe was special. Seeing Ethiopia as the true origin of coffee felt real when visiting a local plantation owned by a woman farmer. It was inspiring to learn directly from her and see how coffee is grown and processed at the community level.
The trip was well organized from start to finish, including the short 35-minute flight back from Awassa to Addis Ababa, which saved time and made the journey very comfortable. Traveling in January was also a good choice, and I appreciated the easy payment options offered by the company.
I’m very happy I chose Aman Ethiopia Tours. The balance of nature, culture, coffee, and smooth logistics made this a rewarding trip, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone interested in seeing a different side of Ethiopia.
