主教博物馆的点评
点评：This is our second visit to the Bishop’s Museum. We learned the museum was once the home of Princess Bishop who wished the home would be dedicated to preserving the Hawaiian culture for generations to come upon her death.
Our visit this time was to view the Aloha Bricks ’26 exhibition. It features over 100 Lego models created by professional Lego artists. Upon entering, a Lego replica of the Duke’s surfboard greets you. Other outstanding exhibits for me included the Hawaiian landmarks including the USS Arizona, the Bishop Museum, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, and the display of things endemic to Hawaii: the state fish(humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa trigger fish) and insect. (Kamehameha Butterfly) and the state plant (Taro) which produces the staple poi. There is also a replica of the nectar-feeding ʻIʻiwi bird.
The exhibit also includes wall art made of Legos. This is a family-friendly exhibit and includes a free play zone for all to build. The exhibition is open until October 27th and is worth a visit.
