Jax teaches the way you’d want someone teaching your kid (or yourself). Patient, methodical, and completely by the book. Not rigid for the sake of it, but because she understands that underwater, small mistakes don’t stay small. She makes sure there are no little bad habits that grow into big problems. She makes you do the drill again until it sticks. Gear checks are done properly, exercises are repeated until they’re automatic, no shortcuts dressed up as “relaxed instruction.”
Sámara itself does you a favor by not being overly polite. Conditions change. Visibility comes and goes. Surge, current, the occasional moment where things feel quite intense. It’s exactly what you need.
