点评：Manuel met my partner and me right on time in the cruise terminal parking lot. We were immediately impressed by his meticulously maintained, spacious Mercedes-Benz, which made for a very comfortable day.
Since this was our first visit to the island, we trusted Manuel to plan the itinerary—and he did not disappoint. His choices were excellent, and he had thoughtfully planned more stops than we were able to fit into one day.
Manuel is exceptionally knowledgeable about the island’s flora and fauna, frequently pointing out plants unique to the island and the region, while also sharing broader world knowledge about more familiar species. His understanding of the island’s history and of Portugal added another rich layer to the experience, and we truly enjoyed everything he shared.
If you’re looking for an educational tour that also allows you to see much of the island in a single day, I highly recommend Manuel Tours. Although our day was comprehensive, the island truly cannot be seen in just one day—and when we return, we will absolutely rebook with Manuel to explore even more.
