Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium的点评
点评：Great new experience in Sarasota! West of UTC Mall, along 75 Interstate.
You must Reserve in advance. I would recommend the Behind the scenes Scientific
Tour! Brad was our Guide for the tour, had 8 in our group. Went behind the scenes in the Lab and preparation areas, was very informative. Start at the Third level (Manatees) and work your way down. They check bags, but you can hide some snacks and drink boxes. The snack bar has an impressive selection and reasonably priced.
Penguins always my favorite with the Otters. Great display of the Founder and it's History. We went on a Friday, but still busy. Parking is a short walk away. Third level also has walkout on roof, where you can overlook towards Mall area (need sunglasses)
Plan on about 3 hours, could be more if you stop and do the Virtual tour and interactive exhibits. Seemed like the younger kids really enjoyed it.
Would go back with our next out of town visitors. Very clean, well lit and accessible.
