点评：We had some unexpected free time during a recent visit to the Daytona Beach area, and with a cold day outside, we decided to explore the Museum of Arts & Sciences. It turned out to be a great choice.
This museum offers a wide variety of fascinating exhibits that appeal to many interests. One standout for me was the history of the iconic Coca-Cola bottle. The memorabilia and story presented by the Root family — the designers of the bottle — was exceptionally well curated and gave real insight into how this classic design became part of American culture.
In addition, the museum features American history exhibits, animatronic dinosaurs, and many other displays that make the experience feel much larger than expected. There’s truly something here for everyone, and it’s the kind of place where words don’t fully capture the scope of what you’ll see.
The bittersweet part: the museum is only open until March 29, 2026, after which it will close until Spring 2028 for a major rebuild and grand reopening with new exhibits.
If you’re visiting Daytona Beach anytime soon, don’t miss this opportunity. This is a must-see attraction before it temporarily disappears — and one well worth your time.
