点评：I remember this beach 25 years ago, before they imported the sand from Australia. My neighbour remembers it 45 years ago when the local community planted all of the trees. Now they have completely ruined it by building a pier that cost a fortune and is rarely open and put food trucks everywhere which creates lots of rubbish all over the place. The music is loud and annoying and they have taken away all of the drink vending machines so you must buy from the dirty food trucks. It is such a shame that a lovely place, with a park and botanical gardens has been destroyed. I have never been into the water park but it looks awful. The best time to go is between 4am and 6am when nobody is there. I used to work at the school across the road and went here at lunch times when it was lovely. I sometimes stop and help the volunteers clear up all of the rubbish because people who go here are too uncivilised to use the rubbish bins and throw their food containers and bottles everywhere instead. Such a shame.
