Cannock Chase Forest的点评
点评：I attended the Cannock Chase Running Festival in April 2026 and overall the event itself was great. Very well organised on the day, friendly atmosphere, and I really enjoyed that part.
However, there was a major issue at the end which really impacted the experience. It took 1 hour 57 minutes to get out of the car park. There was no real traffic management or clear order once the event finished. The parking attendant was seen standing around talking, and at one point just walked off completely.
The situation was made worse because cars had been directed to the "event parking area", meaning there was no ability to move or exit efficiently afterwards. Eventually, people began removing wooden barriers just to allow vehicles to get out and a couple of passengers of other cars got out to do the "parking attendant" job and move the traffic more freely.
I’ve never experienced anything like it at an organised event before and it was extremely frustrating after an otherwise enjoyable day. The event itself was excellent, but the car parking and exit process really needs significant improvement and to pay £11.50 for that is an added blow. Ridiculous parking costs!!!
