Isle Of Wight Distillery的点评
点评：I visited hoping to see the distillery, but the micro‑distillery was closed. We had booked a table for 19:00 and the place was very quiet when we arrived. After checking with the waiter that the kitchen was still open, we ordered two fish & chips, one portion of battered prawns, and some drinks.
Only seconds later, the chef came out to the bar and shouted to the waiter that there was no more fish & chips available. The waiter looked embarrassed and went back to double‑check in the kitchen. In the end, we changed our order to two battered prawns and one Mermaid burger.
We then waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for our food. My son was starving by the time it arrived. The chef gave us one extra prawns, definitely this didn’t make up for the extremely long wait or the poor communication.
Overall, the service was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for dining or visiting when on the Isle.
