Magical 3D/2N Orangutan Tour

点评：Seeing Orangutans in the wild has been on my bucket list for 30 years. We’ve just finished the 3 day 2 night trip and it did not disappoint, in fact it was magical.
Not only did we see many orangutans at the feeding stations but our wonderful guide Jaka spotted a few in the wild.
On the last morning we thought we had seen the last of the orangutans but while we were having breakfast on the boat there was a mum and young orangutan in the trees across from us. The youngster seemed to be practicing how to make a nest. Fascinating and such a privilege to watch.
We also saw many proboscis and macaques monkeys along with an abundance of stork billed kingfishers and the very rare Storm’s Stork.
If you are looking to do a trip like this please book with local guides. It gives you a view of a different way of life and an insight into local people.
The boats are basic but we were always comfortable. The crew were super friendly and helpful. My husband has Parkinson’s and struggled getting on and off the boat but the crew all helped him every time.
The food is plentiful, nutritious and delicious, again giving an insight into local cuisine.
