点评：Rahul Shrestha is an amazing guide and a wholly amazing human being. He organised a bespoke trek in East Nepal for us to suit our needs (budget, itinerary, preferences) and took us somewhere that we never would have found on our own. We saw no other trekkers and the villagers told us it had been 15-20 years since they had seen tourists. The route passed through many different communities and Rahul provided excellent cultural information to enhance our trekking and understanding of Nepal and the local way of life.
He organised transfers, food, porters, camping gear, and accommodation (lodges, hotels, home stays, tea houses, and camping).
The local Nepali food along the way (sometimes cooked by our porter, for example during the camping) was delicious and sustained us during the cold (we trekked in March and experienced rain, thunder / lightning and snow / ice storms).
He looked after us at every moment and, using local knowledge and talking to villagers along the way, he kept finding ways to add little treats. Like finding who had a key to open gates for us to explore local spots.
We can’t wait for an opportunity to trek with Rahul again. Thoroughly recommend you let him take you and your party on a Down to Earth Adventure.
