点评:First trip to Enoshima island. We took the electric train and got off a stop earlier than we needed to, to walk along the seafront. Then it was on the walkway bridge over to the island. Now there is no getting away with this, there are thousands of people doing exactly the same thing as you. And like any tourist hotspot in Japan, unless you are getting up at sunrise, there are going to be hoards of people. I was mentally prepared but my current husband moaned like I’d conjured up these peeps just to annoy him. We walked up the first part on the Main Street and there are shops and restaurants either side. Then we decided to take the escalators all the way to the top-300 yen each-I’d definitely recommend doing this as you’re going to have to walk down anyway so you don’t miss out on anything. Husband and teenager said they would have preferred to jog up. At the top there is a really beautiful garden with a couple of cafes, a shop and if you have bought tickets you can climb up the sea candle. Plenty of shrines and temples to see on the way down. Almost every food place only serves seafood, so bare that in mind if you want to eat on the island. I did see one pizza restaurant.
I enjoyed enoshima island and my expectations were met. I will come back for another look when moaning Minnie has gone back to work..😜

我喜欢江岛,我的期望得到了满足。当抱怨的米妮回去工作时,我会再回来看看。😜
