点评:Not sure about the hype of this place. Yes, it had some historical linkage to early foreign settlement and there are some shops and brands have survived generations, but that is about it. There is a lack of variety unlike shopping streets in other Japanese cities. There just too many high end clothing, watch and jewelry shops.
The area is also not closed off to vehicles or fully sheltered, pedestrians are confined to sidewalk. Making the whole experiences less memorable or favorable on wet weather.
There are a couple of nice cafes and restaurants that make good pit stops for those exhausted from walking about.
The place may not be for everyone but it is still fun to take a walk around if you have the time, maybe just to people watch and to spot the occasional high end sport car going down its narrow drive way.
