点评：We recently did the Battle of Long Tan Tour and it was one of the most moving and insightful tours that we have been on. The tour goes far beyond the typical “war history” – Chris was our tour guide and he provided them and now snapshots as well as well researched information in the history and events that took place during the war.
Chris’ knowledge on Vietnam and the war was exceptional and he was able to discuss the war from many angles.
Vincent was our driver and he was accommodating and thoughtful and such a careful experienced driver. Both Chris and Vincent had a great sense of humour and were happy to answer a zillion questions on any topic that we asked.
Chris and Vincent were also very open and generous in sharing about Vietnamese culture, family life, and the personal stories behind the war. It made the journey not just about battlefields, but also about understanding people, resilience, and healing.
We visited significant locations like the Long Phuoc Tunnels, Nui Dat Base, the Long Tan Cross, and enjoyed a traditional pancake lunch.
Whether you’re a history buff, an Aussie looking to connect with a national story, or simply someone wanting to understand Vietnam in a deeper way, this tour is a must. We highly recommend it – and especially recommend Chris and Vincent as your guides. They are a dynamic duo
