Great views of the river and dolphins! Easy budget friendly activity to see the city and river sights

点评：We were looking for something unique to Jacksonville to do and were recommended the riverwalk. We parked at the fountain parking at one end, and walked past the fountain (which was large and cool) and then started the paved riverwalk. It is on the St. John’s river and you can see some of the large downtown buildings, the bridge, apartments, boats, and we even saw dolphins! Most of the path is in the sun, but depending on the time of day there’s some shaded parts. There are benches scattered throughout. We sat and watched the dolphins for a bit. We even saw the drawbridge lift! There is a map that shows you how long the path is. We saw lots of people walking and biking back and forth. There is one bathroom building on the pathway as well as a water fountain. Overall, this was a great active way to spend an hour or so (you could spend more or less), and it’s a budget friendly way to see some city views and river views.
