Great Tenerife Diving Experience — Thanks, Roy!

点评：When my wife and I decided to visit Tenerife, I knew I wanted to add the Canary Islands to my diving experiences. I researched several highly rated dive shops, and Diversion Scuba stood out because of their 1:1 divemaster-to-diver approach. Even as an experienced diver, that seemed like a great way to experience a new dive location.
Roy was my divemaster and was everything you want in that role — patient, easygoing, calm, confident, knowledgeable, and skilled. He kept the day moving while somehow making everything feel relaxed and unhurried.
While I have many dives under my belt, it had been a couple of years since I’d been in the water. Roy offered a few helpful pointers that quickly knocked off the rust and had me feeling comfortable again.
I was initially a little concerned about shore diving instead of going out by boat. I shouldn’t have been. Once underwater, we saw the dive boats above us visiting the same areas. The shore entry was easy, and the diving was excellent.
Overall, a really enjoyable way to experience Tenerife’s waters, made even better by having an experienced local divemaster focused entirely on the dive. I’d happily dive with Diversion again and would absolutely request Roy if he’s available.
