Well worth a visit even with sticks!
Fortifications of Rhodes的点评
点评：Rounding off our holiday with walking the walls & so glad we did. With an injury & arthritic knees I wasn't sure we would manage but once up the 5 wide steps at the entrance point we could see it was going to be worth the effort, aided by my tracking poles I enjoyed the full length, uneven & gravelly in parts you have to look where you're walking but the views are amazing.
You do get a real sense of the fortification with walls so thick it felt substantial even now. As walking you look down on & close to the residential area I assume the opening times of 12 noon to 3pm Mon to Fri may have something to do with observing the privacy of those residents which is very reasonable although I've not read that it's just my thoughts.
We got to the end to find the uneven steep steps down onto the road ( handrail starts a little way down) deciding it wasn't wise for me to attempt them. Although we had consulted at the ticket office & with the attendant at the start the exit wasn't mentioned but the attendant at the exit kindly rang back to the start to explain my difficulty & arranged for us to walk back the way we had come to exit at the start by the Palace so, we got to enjoy the views twice & had allowed enough time to get back before closing which was lucky.

非常值得一游，门票每人5欧元。
