点评：We covered a lot of ground on an amazing 12 day private tour of southern Xinjiang. Our communications with Silk Road Travel was excellent and on the trip our driver and very knowledgeable guide made sure we felt safe and welcome. Our trip wouldn't have been half as good without them!
We went at the start of June which is already very hot for the area but because of this, there were minimal crowds at attractions so we could enjoy the space mainly to ourselves. Our guide took us to a lot of local restaurants which served delicious food and told us about the culture and history of the region. For us, this deepened our appreciation of the area and made the tour that much better.
Our tour required a lot of driving as the distances between cities was very large - we covered almost 3500km. For us though, the places we visited more than made up for the time sitting on a bus. Overall, a top notch experience!
