点评：The reviews speak for themselves and the reality really reflects the reviews .This was a destination trip for us - having discovered Soalheiro wines during lockdown - so we had high expectations and they were fully met. Our guide Danielle really made the trip. She spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the estate, its history, its approach to winemaking and blended all of that with her own experience understanding and appreciation of the wines - which was very impressive for one who had not been there so long. But the long experience of the environment and curiousity had clearly provided a valuable foundation.
The emphasis on family, history, tradition and connection to place and the careful integration of so many smaller wine growers spoke to me of a wonderful ethos, philosophy and approach
The wine tasting itself was such fun and tailored beautifully based on her own experience and our response - it was indeed a fabulous way to spend the day.
