Wolf Paws Positive Awareness Wolfdog Sanctuary的点评
点评：What an amazing experience! I can't say enough good things about the sanctuary; it's clear they care very deeply about their animals.
Our tour was free (wow!), lasted about an hour, and we were able to learn all about the wolf-dogs they have rescued, their backstories, how well they’re treated at the sanctuary, and what all is involved in keeping them healthy and happy.
Zeus was a favorite; we were able to sit near his fence, close enough for him to check us out and decide if he would welcome contact, which he did - he leaned into the fence and threw his head back as if he was in heaven. Talk about amazing! His pack-mate Venus came close enough for us to see what a beauty she is, she’s a stunner.
We visited Star and Lucifer from a slight distance, although they came right to Jennifer when she got close, showcasing their bond with her. It was beautiful to see. Both gorgeous animals.
We were able to interact with Kimi briefly as she came right up to us while her pack-mate Spirit watched from a distance. Both are slower-moving as they move into old age, but clearly very well loved and cared for, which was heartwarming to see.
Finally, we got to see Eko, who watched us from a distance, although he did venture closer a few times, which was awesome as it sounds like that is progress for him, and Koko, who was the sweetest, friendliest, goodest girl. She made it clear from the get go that she absolutely wanted a meet and greet so we were happy to oblige. She came right up to us to check us out, let us pet her (she’s so soft and a complete fluff ball - the amount of FUR on this girl!!!), and was SO gentle when accepting treats. The highlight of our experience!
I highly recommend scheduling a tour! And if you’re able, to donate, purchase items from their store, and spread the word about this incredible organization. They run solely on donations and every little bit helps!

最后，我们见到了Eko，他一直远远地看着我们，不过他也几次靠近了一些，这很棒，听起来对他来说是一种进步。还有Koko，她是最甜美、最友好、最乖巧的狗狗。她从一开始就明确表示非常想和我们见面，我们当然乐意满足她的愿望。她径直走到我们跟前打量我们，让我们抚摸她（她毛茸茸的，像个小毛球——这小家伙的毛也太多了吧！！！），而且吃零食的时候也特别温柔。这绝对是我们此行最美好的回忆！
