Whipsnade Park Golf Club的点评
点评：8 of us travelled down for our first taste of Whipsnade Park. All enjoyed the day and the course was in good shape despite the greens having recently been hollow tined. Easy walking, not a great variety of holes but still a fair challenge to us all - couple of the 5 par 5's were really nice holes. First time any of us has played where elephant trumpeting could be clearly heard while you're putting out. Bar staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, pro shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. Could have done without the (senior) home club member marching up to us after 18 holes asking why we'd played as a 5 ball. We hadn't to which he said "well there are 5 of you with bags!" (one from our first fourball had stayed behind to see the second group finish). Irritating but didn't mar our enjoyment
翻译：我们八个人一同前往，第一次体验惠普斯内德公园球场。大家都度过了愉快的一天。虽然果岭刚刚进行过打孔疏草处理，但球场状况依然不错。球场内步行起来很轻松，虽然洞数不算多且类型也较单一，但对我们所有人来说仍颇具挑战性——那几个5杆洞中有两个设计得相当出色。我们还是第一次在打球时能清晰地听到大象的叫声。酒吧的工作人员友善、热心且高效。高尔夫用品店的商品种类齐全，价格也还算合理。不过，打完18洞后有个老年会员径直走到我们跟前，质问我们为什么五个人一起打球，这就有些扫兴了。我们其实只有四个人打球，他则回应道：“可你们有五个人都带着球包啊！”（其实是我们四人组里有个人留下来观看另一组球手的比赛了。）虽然有点烦人，但倒也没影响我们游玩的兴致。
