A real disappointment
Herring Green Activity Farm的点评
点评：I’ve visited this lovely farm many times over the years and have always enjoyed coming here, so it’s disappointing to say that on this visit, it felt like the whole place was in need of some TLC and maintenance.
The animal enclosures were clean and the animals appeared well cared for, which was reassuring. However, the children’s areas really let the place down. The sandpit had fence panels hanging off, with large nails sticking out, which I felt was a real safety concern for children. The toy diggers in the sandpit were also missing their buckets.
The tyre play area also had stinging nettles growing in and around the tyres, which again doesn’t feel ideal for a children’s play area.
Overall, the farm just seemed tired and a little neglected compared with previous visits. I’m hoping this is simply a temporary situation and that some maintenance and attention will be given to the children’s areas, because it really is a lovely farm and has so much potential. I’d love to come back and see it looking as cared for as it has been in the past.
