Modern marvel of engineering to match the iconic Railway Bridge

点评：At the start of out tour of Scotland, we could see the bridges from Sterling. It was not until our return to Edinburg six weeks later did we finally cross the New Forth Road Bridge at The Queensferry Crossing. A magnificent feat of engineering the new road bridge across the Firth of Forth in Scotland, completed in August 2017 to replace the aging Forth Road Bridge, built in the 1960. The old bridge being very similar to an old favorite of ours the old Seven Bridge, crossed many time on our way to Cornwall.
As the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world at 1,7 miles, it serves as the main motorway link (M90) for public transport, cars, and commercial vehicles.
As you cross the bridge, you will get views of the other two bridges across the Firth of Forth. Scotland's Forth Bridges are a wonder of the modern world and one of Scotland's most recognisable locations. Towering side by side over the Firth of Forth, these structures represent the pinnacle of engineering across three centuries.
