Amazing experience with Nuwan – highly recommend!

点评：We had an amazing time in Sri Lanka, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, Nuwan. We were three girls travelling together, and from the very beginning we felt completely safe and well taken care of.
Nuwan was always extremely punctual, helpful and patient. He prepared his own suggested itinerary for us and also took the time to go through our plans, honestly telling us what was realistic to do and what might be too much.
What we appreciated the most was how flexible he was throughout the whole trip. Whenever we were tired, wanted to change our plans or simply spend more time somewhere, he was always happy to adjust the day accordingly.
He was also a very good and careful driver. Considering how driving can be in Sri Lanka, we always felt very safe with him in the car, which was especially important to us as three girls travelling on our own.
Nuwan was incredibly helpful with arranging train tickets for us, even when they were already sold out online, and was always willing to help with anything we needed during the trip.
Another thing we really appreciated was his honesty. He never tried to push us into visiting places just for the sake of it. He would genuinely tell us which attractions he thought were worth seeing and where we could save money. We really valued this because it made us feel that he cared about our experience rather than simply following a fixed tour.
Thanks to Nuwan, we also learned so much more about Sri Lanka itself — not only about the places we visited, but also about everyday life, the culture and how things actually work in the country. His perspective gave us a much broader understanding of Sri Lanka and made the trip much more meaningful. We would especially recommend him to people who appreciate getting to know the country beyond just the typical tourist attractions.
And, most importantly, Nuwan is simply a wonderful person. We genuinely liked him as a person and really enjoyed spending time with him throughout the trip. By the end, it felt less like we were travelling with a guide and more like we had someone we could genuinely rely on and enjoy being around.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better guide. Nuwan was reliable, kind, honest, flexible and genuinely caring. He made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable, and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone travelling around Sri Lanka.
