Brooks Collectables and Toy Museum的点评
点评：I last visited Blackpool out of season and Brooks Collectables was closed at the time so I could not check it out. The next time I was here it was open so I really wanted to indulge my nerd.
There is a store where they sell collectables from Star Wars, Doctor Who and Marvel. It was disappointing to see all the Star Wars figures on sale as some high prices and I used to have many of them. Nevermind...
I went up to the museum upstairs. They ask for a donation for this and the money goes to charity. Heading up the staircase they have a collection of seaside postcards which you would never get away with sending nowadays. They were very cheeky ;)
Upstairs there are plenty of things to see including collections of model cars, soldiers, buses and also trams in different liveries. They are models of the trams that used to run along the seafront so this was great to see.
There are more Star Wars collectables and also a Sinclair C5 which I have not seen in many years. I liked seeing the model of the Blackpool swimming pool which was very detailed.
It's a nice place to check out if you like this sort of thing. I could not see a lift up to the first floor so you may struggle to get there if you cannot to use stairs.
