点评:This review is mainly for the cafe and museum Not the lovely walking paths that surround them. The museum was shut, looking very bleak and scruffy with metal fences surrounding. The cafe was extortionate and a crap experience. £6.95 for a mozzeralla toastie was a largely tasteless cheese with a couple of slices of pale hard tomato. £5.95 for a beef pastie which was horrible. £3.95 for a small tub of ice cream. No inside seating so we sat outside under a partial cover with rain coming in at us, a large crowd of dog owners calling ‘Minnie, minnie ‘etc when their dogs repeatedly jumped up to sniff our food and a bloke breathing his strawberry vape smoke nearby. Brilliant. Love the woods but the cafe is abysmal and a real rip off. They are making massive profits. I love dogs btw, just not some owners who think their dogs are kids and need everyone to know it.
