点评:Really nice that this is booked as a private event so you know how many will be there and who they are. Only two of us so a really personal event.
John and Carole clearly love their alpacas and are keen to pass on their knowledge. We spent the first hour or so just standing in a field full of alpacas watching them graze and learning so much about both the animals and their welfare (which is clearly a priority for John and Carole). It was so relaxing just being in alpaca company.
From there you learn about feeding and move on to meet the males and be paired up with "volunteer" alpacas for a wander round the garden and through the woods.
The day ends with tea/coffee and cake and a nice chat. Coffee cake to die for.
We chatted so much that the afternoon overran it's allotted time.
All in all a lovely experience.
