A gorgeous beach destroyed by a devastating fire

点评：This was once one of the most beautiful beaches in the area; unfortunately, it was severely affected by the devastating fire that occurred in the summer of 2025.
The landscape, with its bare hills where the burnt trunks of trees can still be seen here and there, feels desolate. It will probably take many years for the vegetation to recover, especially since, as you can see from the photos, the surrounding hills are made of clay rather than rock, which makes landslides likely.
The beach itself has remained beautiful. The water is very clear, and the underwater rocks provide an ideal refuge for fish, making this spot excellent for snorkeling enthusiasts.
There is a private beach area (I believe it is operated by the owners of the nearby restaurant), but consumption is not mandatory, you can rent sun loungers without eating at the restaurant. Prices are slightly higher than on neighboring beaches, but still reasonable: 12 euros for two sunbeds and an umbrella.
Parking spaces are limited and, I believe, reserved for restaurant customers. To avoid the hassle of parking, we came by bus, paying around 3–4 euros per ticket.
The beach is quite large, and those who don’t want to rent sunbeds have plenty of space to spread their towels on the sand or among the rocks, near the walls at the end of the beach, but to me that seemed to be quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the fire I mentioned earlier reached all the way to the seashore, so it is difficult to find any natural shade. As a result, visitors who don’t rent a sunbed should bring their own umbrella.
