点评：We had finished up a 4 hour caving experience located nearby.... it was getting on 7pm and as passing the convenience spar shop and takeaway shops on the way, we picked up drinks and food and headed to suprise view carpark. 5minutes of scenery up to the car park, stepping out to immediate more Scenery , i couldn't see seating at this point (only in car)so picked the easy option 'left side gate' As mentioned here "non-too-taxing walk gets you to some decent views and interesting rock formations." Where you'll find seating for a picnic or short walk and sit. We intended on visiting the gorge a separate day but you can cross the road or keep going up in same direction area to Over Owler Tor, Higger Tor and beyond. The higher you go the more Panoramic views. Well maintained. No motocross bikes. Wasnt crowded at this time, dog walkers, runners and people just walking. It was a cloudy evening but Skies still looked lively. Place for star gazing. Free parking after 6pm. Easy to navigate to and from A6187. Buses stop near by peak link 272.
I Probably wouldn't travel hours to this specific place as a stand alone, as there's better known places in area but I'd say the views are on par and probably recommend walking through on longer hike making it a full circle or point to point. Or how we did as a Tea time picnic on way too or from.

翻译：我们结束了在附近进行的4小时洞穴探险……当时快晚上7点了，路过便利店和外卖店时，我们买了饮料和食物，然后前往惊喜观景停车场。步行5分钟即可到达停车场，沿途风景优美。下车后，眼前又是另一番美景。我当时没看到座位（只有车里有），所以选择了最简单的“左侧入口”。正如这里提到的，“这段不太费力的步行就能让你欣赏到不错的景色和有趣的岩层”。那里有座位，可以野餐或短途散步休息。我们原本打算另找一天去峡谷，但你可以过马路，或者继续沿同一方向向上走，前往奥弗勒托尔、希格托尔以及更远的地方。海拔越高，视野越开阔。维护得很好。没有越野摩托车。当时人不多，只有遛狗的人、跑步的人和散步的人。虽然傍晚阴天，但天空依然繁星点点。这里是观星的好地方。下午6点后免费停车。往返A6187公路都很方便。附近有Peak Link 272路公交车站。我个人可能不会特意花几个小时专门来这里，因为附近还有其他更知名的景点，但我觉得这里的景色也毫不逊色，建议可以安排一次较长的徒步旅行，绕道而行，或者像我们一样，在途中享用下午茶野餐。
