点评：Great Smoky Mountains National Park is one of those places that somehow feels both massive and welcoming at the same time. The rolling mountain views, misty valleys, and endless forests make it feel wild, but the park is also incredibly accessible with scenic drives, short hikes, and historic sites throughout.
One of the best parts of visiting the Smokies is the variety. You can watch sunrise over the mountains, spend the afternoon hiking to waterfalls, and finish the day spotting wildlife in the valleys. Even simply driving through the park is an experience, with scenic pull-offs and trailheads around nearly every corner.
It’s also one of the most family-friendly national parks we’ve visited. There are plenty of short trails, picnic areas, and overlooks, and you’re rarely far from a beautiful viewpoint.
That said, popularity comes with crowds. Areas near Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, and Newfound Gap can get busy during peak seasons. Starting early or exploring some of the quieter parts of the park makes a big difference.
