点评：What a fantastic trip, my sister and I booked a day trip to Mingulay Bay, I omitted to tell my sister that she may have to climb some rocks to actually get onto the island, the crew on the boat Roanld and Donald are knowledgeable and go out their way to ensure their passengers have a fantastic trip, upon arrival to the boat, the weather was calm , as we looked at the other passengers, all dressed in walking attire, it was clear we were perhaps not prepared as much , however this did not deter us, the boat is comfortable and the sail to Mingulay is wonderful, as we approached Mingulay and we saw the rocks and Dinghy , the nerves kicked in about my concerns on climbing the rocks to actually get onto Mingulay, however the kind Captain and his wingman offered to take my sister and I to another part of the beach where the rocks were not as steep, Donald helped us onto the rocks ( we didn’t have suitable footwear only trainers) the walks around Mingulay are lovely and from the ruins you can try to imagine what life may have been like , our highlight was being able to get onto the beach, we seen seals, eagles and other birds. , we also met the wildlife ranger responsible for Mingulay and this was so interesting being able to chat about the different sea birds and season times to see them. upon leaving Mingulay, we had the same challenges to get off the rocks and onto the Dinghy , again the kindness of Ronald and Donald kicked in and Donald came onto the rocks to help us down. Coffee and biscuits on the boat was welcomed along with the sharing of knowledge and history stories, we laughed a lot on the boat and the memories of our day trip to Mingulay will last forever , this day trip was fabulous.. Highly recommend this trip and I look forward to coming back in the future.
